RoHS - Restricion on Hazardous Substances
RoHS : EU Member States shall ensure that, from 1 July 2006, new electrical and electronic equipment put on the market dose not contain based on the EU directive 2002/95/EC :
  • Lead (Pb) of component weight < 1000 PPM
  • Mercury (Hg) of component weight < 1000 PPM
  • Cadmium (Cd) of component weight <100 PPM
  • Hexavalent Chromium (CrVI) of component weight < 1000 PPM
  • Polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) or Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) (Flame retardants used in plastics) of component weight < 1000 PPM

For the RoHS's deploying date is coming MOTIEN started to ship the RoHS compliant products to our customers from 1 Feb 2005, and MOTIEN consume the addition cost to keep the price the same with Non-RoHS compliant products.

MOTIEN has passed the RoHS test report for all series as the approval on 29 Mar 2006.
